TSLA Bulls Are Challenging $400

TSLA is trading near $398.60 after lifting from the $394 area and briefly testing $400.25. Short-term momentum is bullish, but $400 is the decision zone—not permission to chase.

The Premarket Story

Price is holding above VWAP on the short-term charts. MACD momentum is expanding, volume increased during the push, and buyers have not immediately surrendered the breakout candle.

The higher-timeframe picture is less clean. TSLA is moving into resistance while the one-hour move is already extended. That creates two valid possibilities: continuation through $400 or a premarket breakout that gets rejected after the opening bell.

Bullish Plan

A clean break above the premarket high must hold or survive a retest.

  • Trigger: $400.25 break and hold
  • Target 1: $402
  • Target 2: $404
  • Resistance: $405–$408

Bearish Plan

A failed $400 test followed by loss of $397 would weaken the premarket structure.

  • Trigger: rejection plus $397 loss
  • Support 1: $396.20
  • VWAP area: roughly $395.60
  • Support 2: $394

Execution Rule

I am not chasing the first green candle.

I want one of three confirmations: a break and retest of $400.25, a controlled pullback that holds VWAP, or a confirmed rejection before considering puts.

The opening candles decide whether buyers can defend the move. Premarket momentum gives context; price acceptance gives the trade.

Premarket Bias

Bullish momentum, but the move must prove itself above $400. A failure to hold that zone changes the setup from breakout continuation to possible trap.
